FROM WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES

Botts, Rev. W. T.-Was born June 21, 1869, deceased this life
October 5, 1957, being 88 years old.

He professed a hope in Christ at the age of 17 years, being a 
member of the Church for 71 years. He first joined the New 
Salem Baptist Church and later brought his letter to the 
Annadel Baptist Church where he remained a faithful member 
until death.

He was ordained to the ministry of the Gospel in the year 1923, 
being an ordained minister for 34 years.

He was married to Theresa Cook. To this union were born 10 
children. His wife and 2 children preceded him in death. 8 were
living, 4 girls, Mrs. Dan McPhail, Mrs. Watson Whitson, Mrs. 
Carmie Byrd and Mrs. Fletcher Byrd, 4 boys, Elmer, Robert, 
Harrison and Luster Botts.

We feel our loss is his eternal gain in glory.
