FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES, 1951

Blevins, Bro. Jacob--Born Dec. 1, 1867, departed this life March
3, 1951, age 83 years, 3 months, 2 days.  He accepted Christ as 
his personal savior Aug. 1913 and was received into the New Zion 
Church by baptism. He remained a faithful member until God called 
him to heaven, there to praise God and be with loved ones gone on 
before.

He told his loved ones and friends that he had made his peace, 
calling an election sure, and was not afraid to die.

We feel that our loss was his gain and that his loved ones and 
friends will see his smiling face again around the dazzling throne 
of a never fading glory.

He was married to Miss Cordelia King May 1914 and leaves to mourn 
his loss his wife, 3 brothers and relatives and friends.

Gone but not forgotten.
