FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES

Baird, Alice-Was born March 30, 1883 and deceased this life
December 14, 1964.

She was united in marriage to G. B. Baird and to this union 
was born one child, Ethel Marcum of Norma, Tennessee. She 
also reared one child, Mrs. Jody Woolby, of West Terre 
Haute, Indiana.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined 
the Jellico Creek Baptist Church. She moved from there to 
the Union Church of Straight Fork and stayed there about 
25 years. Then went to Jakes Branch as a charter member 
and helped to organize this church in 1949. She remained 
there until her death.

We feel that our loss is her eternal gain in glory.
