Emma Myrtle Branscum, 69, Rt. 1, Stearns, died July 24 at Wayne County Hospital. 
Funeral services were held July 26 at 2 p.m. at Wolfe Ridge Baptist Church with 
Rev. Earl Davis officiating.  Burial was in Sammy New Cemetery.

She was born March 7, 1913, in Wayne County to the late Mart Keith and Elsie 
Correll Keith.  She was married to Harvey Branscum in 1932.  She had lived here 
for years, was a homemaker and member of Wolfe Ridge United Baptist Church.  

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; five brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her children, Wilma Duncan, Kathleen Bruce and Arthur Branscum, 
all of Cincinnati, Harvey Branscum Jr., Sidney, Ohio, Geneva Duncan, Indianapolis, 
Ind., Charles Branscum, Franklin, Ind., Margie Dingus, Winfield, Tenn., and Irene 
Coffey, Rt. 1, Stearns; 23 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; four sisters, 
Polly Branscum, Rt. 1, Stearns, Ona Hughes, Smithtown, Mildred Phillips, Benton 
Harbor, Mich., and Beatrice Hammonds, Delta, Ky.

Hickman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
