FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES

Cooper, Oda-Son of Eli and Lucinda Cooper, which preceded him 
in death, was born October 28th, 1895, departed this life, 
July 17th, 1957. He was 61 years, 9 months and 19 days of age.

He married Pearl Stephens, July 21, 1920. To this union was 
born five sons and five daughters. Herman Cooper of Loveland, 
Ohio, James, Clyde, Raymond, and Robert Cooper all of
Cincinnati, Ohio; Thelma Graham and Evelyn Neal of Cincinnati, 
Ohio, Bulah Braden, Betty Cooper and Lois Cooper of Pine Knot.  
Sixteen grandchildren, one brother, Linzie Cooper, Cincinnati, 
Ohio; two sisters, Lillie Stephens, Pine Knot, Etta Hicks, 
Loveland, Ohio. 

As a young man he joined the Sulphur Springs United Baptist 
Church, he brought his membership to the United Baptist Church 
at Pine Knot and lived a good Christian life until death. He
leaves a host of friends to mourn his passing.

We feel our loss is his eternal gain in glory.
