FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES

Chitwood, Mary Jane-the daughter of the late James W. and 
Anna Orick Walker-was born in Scott county, Tennessee, 
August 16, 1900, deceased this life December 5, 1965 at the 
age of 65 years, 3 months and 19 days.

In the year 1920, she united in marriage with John Quincy 
Chitwood and 6 children were born to this union. Her husband 
preceded her in death on the first day of December of this 
year.

She is survived by 3 sons, John J. Chitwood, of Arcada, 
Florida, Carl K. and Max D. Chitwood both of Winfield,
Tennessee; 3 daughters, Pauline Chitwood of Winfield, 
Tennessee, Madeline Strunk of Strunk, Kentucky and Betty 
Geneva McRoberts of Cincinnati, Ohio; 3 sisters, Mrs. 
Isom Chitwood, Mrs. Arnold King and Mrs. Ted Crabtree all of
Winfield, Tennessee; 24 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

She professed faith in Christ and united with the Pine 
Grove Baptist Church in the year 1915 where she remained a 
member until her death.

"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."  We join the 
family in their bereavement.
