Chitwood, Joe-Was born in Scott county, Tennessee, April 19,
1898, deceased this life October 1, 1966 at the age of 68 
years, 5 months and 12 days.  

He united in marriage to Maude Vann Bunch on October 9, 1931
and to this union was born 2 sons, Ronald Chitwood of Los 
Angeles, California and Donald Chitwood of Cincinnati, Ohio.  
Step-son, G.B. Vann of Cincinnati, Ohio; Step-daughter, Mrs. 
Imogene Chitwood of Winfield, Tennessee; 6 brothers, Ed 
Chitwood of Nashville, Tennessee, Fred Chitwood of Nashville, 
Tennessee, Harrison Chitwood of Oneida, Tenn., Golman Chitwood 
of Harriman, Tennessee. Roe Chitwood of Jacksboro, Tennessee, 
and Marshall Chitwood of Macon, Georgia; 1 sister, Mrs. Mona 
Chitwood of Oneida, Tennessee; 11 Grandchildren; 1 Great 
Grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.  

He professed faith in Christ and united with the Pleasant Grove 
Baptist Church about 28 years ago.
