Ancil Coy Childers, 77, Woodbine and formerly of McCreary County,died June 6 at his home.  
Funeral services were held June 8 at 2 p.m. at Vankirk Funeral Home Chapel with 
Rev. James N. Davis officiating.  Burial was in Terrell Cemetery in Woodbine.

He is survived by his wife, Dessel Childers; a son, Scott Childers, Georgetown, Ohio; 
a daughter, Mrs. Don (Janice) Adkins, Williamsburg; step-mother, Tempa Childers, Corbin; 
four brothers, Glen Childers and Jim Childers, both of Norwood, Arlo Childers, Deer Park, 
Ohio, and Howard Childers, Whitley City; three sisters, Marie Keegan and May Bryant, 
both of Norwood, Ohio, and Fay Taylor, Corbin; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
