ELIZA CARRELL CLARK

Mrs. Eliza Carrell Clark, 68 years old, beloved wife of the 
late Tom Clark of Whitley City, died at the home of a daughter, 
Mrs. Homer Smith, at Williamsburg on Saturday, October 5th.  

The body was returned to this county where funeral services 
were held on Monday at the Second Baptist Church at Whitley 
City, Rev. Joe Cox officiating. Interment was in the 
Holloway Graves.

Mrs. Clark is survived by eight sons, two daughters, forty-
eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was 
a consecrated member of the Second Baptist Church at Whitley 
and had lived a Christian life. 

She leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn 
her passing.
