NANCY FLYNN CLARK

Mrs. Nancy Flynn Clark, age 45 years, beloved wife of 
Mr. Arthur Clark, Yamacraw, died at the Somerset hospital 
on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 11th, at two o'clock following 
an illness of seven weeks.  Mrs. Clark was a member of the 
Lick Creek Baptist Church for the past twenty-eight years 
and had lived a Christian life since that time. She was 
beloved by all who knew her and had many friends who are 
grieved at her untimely passing.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband, three daughters, 
Mrs. Dessie Whitehead, Nellie and Lily Clark, Yamacraw; 
three sons, Raymond, Kenneth and Arnold Clark, Yamacraw; 
three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Mae Dixon, White Oak Junction; 
Mrs. Zora Ellis and Mrs. Bessie Tol, Muncie, Ind.; four 
brothers, John Flynn, Yamacraw, Green, Denton and Clint 
Flynn, Denny; seven grandchildren and a host of friends 
to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held at the Cooper graveyard on 
Saturday afternoon with Rev. Charlie Cook officiating. 
Interment was in the cemetery there.
