FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES

Chambers, John was born in 1892. He joined the Union Church at 
an early age. Then in 1949 he moved his letter to Jakes Branch 
United Baptist Church which he helped to organize and remained 
a faithful member until death. 

He married Kizzie Adkins and to this union were born seven 
children, one preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his 
absence 4 sons, Joe of Pioneer, Tenn., J. Odus of Caryville, 
Tenn.; Paul and James of LaFollette, Tenn., two daughters, 
Emma Muse of LaFollette, Tenn. and Nella Burress of Helenwood, 
Tenn. and a host of friends to mourn his passing. 

The Jakes Branch Church misses his presence and we feel our 
loss is his eternal gain in heaven.
