FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES

Cross, Manerva Pennington-wife of H.C. Cross-was born October 
27,1878, departed this life July 21, 1963. She was 84 years 
old and joined the New Salem Church about 1897 and lived a 
faithful Christian life until death. 

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to H.C. Cross and to this 
union was born 9 children, one son preceding her in death.  
She was true to her husband, to her children and to God.

We feel our earthly loss is Heaven's gain. She was sadly 
missed by all who knew her.
