OPAL GREGORY CORDELL, 44, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2003 at her residence.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 31, 2003 at 11:00 am at the New Haven 
Baptist Church. Burial was in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. 

She was born July 31, 1958 to Steve Gregory and Alma Ruth Haynes Gregory. Opal 
was a member of the New Haven Baptist church and enjoyed gardening, interior 
decorating and spending time with her family.
  
Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Cordell, 
Stearns, KY., one son, Joshua Cordell, Stearns, KY., two daughters, Vanessa Roysdon 
and her husband, Joseph, Elgin, TN, and Jacklyn Rollins and her husband, Willie, Stearns, 
KY., four brothers, Jesse, Alfred, Chester and Benny Gregory, three sisters, Mary Ann Koger, 
Lois Dobbs and Pearl Bolin, and three grandchildren, Sarah Roysdon, Tamra Rollins and 
Laura Rollins. 

Hickman Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Opal Gregory Cordell.
