FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES, 
1950

Dobbs, Thomas was born December 14, 1877, age 72 years, 8 
months and 23 days old, married to Julie Jones in 1900 and 
to this happy union were born 12 children, 6 of which 
preceded him in death and survived are 4 girls and 2 boys: 
Sheardie Dobbs, Jobe Dobbs, Lillie Coffey, Ester Coffey, 
Dora Coffey, Edith Dobbs, and joined the United Baptist 
Church in the early days at Wolf Creek and moved from there 
to Mountain View and lived a devoted Christian life until 
death.  

Deceased this life September 6, 1950, leaves to mourn his 
passing six children and one brother Eli Dobbs, and one 
sister Angalyne Coffey and a host of friends and relatives 
to mourn his absence. 

We believe our loss is his eternal gain in glory.
