R. 1, died Saturday in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. He was born in Shoopman, Ky., and attended schools in that area. He was in the Army during World War II and came to the Muncie area in 1950. Mr. Dolan was employed for more than 20 years with Delco Battery before retiring in 1973. He was a member of Westside United Baptist Church, Delco Sympathy Club, and the United Auto Workers Local 489. Surviving are his wife, Shella (Sheila) Musgrove Dolan; four daughters, Betty Jo Tapley and Brenda (Mrs. Jerry) Tapley, both of Springport, Millie (Mildred) Tracy, Greenville, S.C., and Berneice (Mrs. Dave) Jamison, Muncie; a sister Flora Frady, of California; four brothers, Fred Dolan, Fort Wayne, Roger Dolan, Arkansas, and Philip Dolan and Delbert Dolan, both of Stearns, Ky.; 10 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Meeks Mortuary, Muncie, with Pastors Larry and Phillip Waters officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Springport (Indiana). Calling at the mortuary is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today or before services Tuesday.
