He joined the New Light Church August 22, 1947. His delight was to organize singing groups to sing in many churches. He was a young man whom everybody seemed to love. One of his outstanding traits was his warm friendliness, to know him was to love him. He was often complimented for his outstanding love on loyalty to his parents, being at the age when most young men choose to work for themselves. He chose to support his parents who needed him. He was always the same friendly lad when you met him, his pleasant manners won his teachers and classmates while in school. He had many friends who visited him and he was glad to see them. He leaves father, mother, three sisters, Gladys Angel, Goldie Perkins, Pine Knot, Ky., Glennos Strunk, Winfield; two brothers, Elbert Duncan, Winfield, Delbert Duncan of Indiana, 6 nieces, 8 nephews, two uncles, 8 aunts and many relatives and friends to mourn his absence. We feel our loss is his gain in glory.
