Survivors: Wife, Susie Baker Daniel of Helenwood; 2 Daughters, Mrs. Patricia Bowling of Arlington, Virginia and Mrs. Beulah Kucera, Omaha, Nebraska; 3 brothers, Asbury Daniel of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Edd Daniel of Jellico, Tennessee and Charlie Daniel of Ypsilanti, Michigan; 1 step-brother, Cam Emerson of Wartburg, Tennessee; 1 step-sister, Daisey Lane of Texas; 1 half-sister, Flossie Vineyard of Virginia; 3 Grand- children, Inez Sue Kucera, Patricia Dee Bowling and James Thomas Bowling; and a great host of other relatives and friends. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 670, Robbins, Tennessee, a veteran of World War I, served in the United States Navy, a member of American Legion Post No. 136. He professed faith in Christ and was baptized into the Clinchmore Baptist Church in Campbell County several years ago. Later, On September 2, 1945 he transferred his membership by letter to the Helenwood Baptist Church and remained a faithful and devoted member until death. By his death the family, friends and his church has sustained a great loss, but our loss is his gain. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."
