FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES

Draughn, Mrs. Effie-Born April 11, 1881, departed this life
January 16, 1953, age 72 years.  She was married to John 
Draughn 55 years. To this union was born 10 children, 9 lived 
to be grown, one son, U.S. Draughn preceded her in death.  

She leaves 8 children, 5 girls and 3 boys; 45 grandchildren 
and a host of friends to mourn our loss.  

She professed a hope in Christ and joined the Honey Creek 
Church about 18 years ago and there remained until death.
