Norma Jean Dolen, 14, Stearns, daughter of Mrs. Pearl Ross Watson and Elbert 
Dolen, died Saturday, April 25th, at the Somerset City Hospital from a heart 
condition. she had been ill for three weeks and was removed to the hospital 
from her home on Saturday. She died on the elevator going up to the hospital 
room./ The family moved to Stearns from Blue Heron about one year ago. She was 
a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her mother, 
Mrs. Pearl Watson, her father, Elbert Dolen, one brother Leo Dolen, three half 
sisters, Maxine, Irene and Joyce, and one half brother, Joyce Watson, and her 
step-father, Mr. Dillard Watson./ Funeral services were held Monday, April 
27th, at the West Apple Tree Church with Rev. Levi Cox officiating. Burial was 
in the Stearns Cemetery.
