McCreary County Reocrd, McCreary County, Kentucky
Tuesday, April 20, 1982, McCreary County Record:
Clabe Dority, 74, Stearns, died April 11 at Lake Cumberalnd Medical Center, 
Somerset. Funeral services were held April 13 at 2 p.m. at Hickman Funeral 
Home Chapel with the Reverands Garrett Muse and Hurstle Jones officiating. 
Burial was in Angel Cemetery./  He was born April 12, 1907 in Oneida, Tenn., 
to the late Burl Dority and Emaline Ross Dority. He had lived here for years, 
was a coal miner and member of Antioch Baptist Church. Preceding him in death 
were his parents, and his wife, Arlie Boyatt Dority./  Survivors include his 
children, Emma Douglas, Dorothy Daugherty, Zella Lee Daugherty, Verlin 
Daugherty, Ale Daugherty and Doris Hall, all of Stearns, Starlin Daugherty, 
Hill Top, and Judy Hawn, Strunk; 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; 
one brother, Arthur Dority, Whitley City./  Hickman Funeral Home was in charge 
of arrangements.
