FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES

Ellis, Roe-Born July 28, 1895, deceased this life January 16, 
1960.

He professed a hope in Christ and joined the Paint Rock Baptist 
Church, September 4, 1938.  

Surviving are his wife, Rachel Ellis, of Oneida 2 sons, Casta 
Ellis, Cincinnati, Ohio and Hurstle Ellis, of Oneida daughters, 
Mrs. Frank Holloway, of Rockwood, Tenn., Mrs. Arlie Pike, 
Oneida; stepson, Leon West, Oneida and step daughter, Mrs. 
Temey Byrd of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery. We feel our loss is his eternal 
gain in glory.
