Wilburn Godsey, 56, died Sunday, October 11, at his home on Route 1, Stearns. 
His wife, Mrs. Marie Godsey, survives./  A native of McCreary County, he was 
born February 19, 1915, and was the son of the late Zeblon Godsey and Dolly 
Thompson Godsey. He was a life long resident of McCreary County and was 
employed as a coal miner./  Survivors, besides his widow, and two brothers, 
Golman Godsey and Robert Godsey, both of Route 1, Stearns; three sisters, Mrs. 
Ida Tucker and Mrs. Mae Whitehead, Route 1, Stearns, and Mrs. Clara Troxell, 
Route 1, Whitley City./  The Rev. Luther Phillips conducted the funeral 
service. Wednesday, October 13, at 2:30 p.m. in the Godsey home./  Burial was 
in the Family Cemetery. Hickman Funeral Home in charge.
