Hines, George P.---Was born August 11, 1873, departed this life January 9, 
1954, age 80 years, 4 months, and 29 days. He professed a hope in Christ in 
1941 at Louisville, Ky., and joined Pleasant Grove Church in 1951. He was a 
faithful member until death. He was loved by all who knew him. His seat will 
be vacant in the old church, but in our hearts there will remain many memories 
of the past. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Verna Hines of 
Winfield, Tenn., and 5 children, Marshall Hines of Burnside, Ky.; Mrs. Claud 
Baker, Mrs. Jesselyn Wilson, Mrs. Robert Waymeir of Muncie, Ind., Mrs. Lee 
Gilbreath of Pine Knot, Ky. We feel our loss is his eternal gain in glory.
