Edna Mae Hamlin, 73, Pine Knot, died May 24 at home.  Funeral services were held May 27 at 
2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Ball and Otis Caudill officiating.  
Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.

Born Sept. 4, 1908, in Wayne Co. to the late Jim Shepherd and Mary Jane Ball, she was a 
homemaker and member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, George Lawrence Hamlin, Pine Knot, six children, Mildred 
Batter, Jack Hamlin, and Donald Hamlin, all of Apopka, Fla., Sue Carol Williams, Longwood, 
Fla., Bill Hamlin, Loveland, Ohio, Mary Lou Marrs, Palatka, Fla. 29  grandchildren, 19 
great-grandchildren, and a sister, Georgia Jones, St. Bernard, Ohio.

Hickman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
