Hetty Hazel Privett King, 77, Rt. 1, Winfield, Tenn., died Dec. 11 at
Scott County Hospital, Oneida, Tenn.  Funeral services were held Dec. 13 at
1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove United Baptist Church, Winfield, with the Reverends
Sherman Smith and Carl Jeffers officiating. Burial was in Hazel Valley
Cemetery, Oneida.

She was born Oct. 27, 1905, in McCreary County to the late W.M. Privett
and Florence Stephens Privett.  She was married to George King June 9, 1923,
at Jellico Creek.  She was a housewife and member of Pleasant Grove United
Baptist Church.  Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, George
King; two brothers, three half brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her children, Junior M. King and Orangie Davis, both
of Robbins, Tenn., Edna Trammell and Charles M. King, both of Winfield,
Tenn., James King, Vermillion, Ohio, Orville Lee King, of Wakeman, Ohio,
Bonnie York of New Castle, Ind., Walter Dean King, of Birmingham, Ohio, Ruby
Frells of Dayton, Ohio, and Joyce King of Pine Knot; 38 grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orville Privett, Strunk, and Willard
Privett, Oberlin, Ohio; three sisters, Mossie Stanfill, Leona Neal and
Fronnie Spradlin, all of Pine Knot.

McCreary County Funeral Home handled arrangements.
