FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES
Lawson, Mrs. Julia Sharp-Wife of Bill Lawson of Elk Valley, Tenn., age 71 
years, died at 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning September 19 at Dr's Hospital in 
LaFollette. Survivors left to mourn her death are two sisters, Millie Ann 
Sharp, Mrs. Alice Hatmaker; one brother, Archie Sharp and five step-children; 
three daughters and two sons; also many relatives and friends. She lived a 
faithful Christian life. Oftimes she spoke and told her friends of her future 
hope and a blessed home beyond this vale of tears.
