Arnold E. Meadows, 78, Strunk, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1992, at Scott County 
Hospital.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of R.F. Neal Funeral 
Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Neal and Deacon Ralph Dupee officiating. Burial was 
in the Meadows Family Cemetery.
Born Nov. 12, 1914, in Strunk, he was the son of the late Frank and Emma 
Stephens Meadows. He was a farmer and of the Church of God faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents; four sons, Orville Lee, Paul, Roger 
and Kenneth Meadows; four brothers, Charlie, George, Roscoe and H.P. Meadows; 
and a sister, Lucinda Meadows Cox.
Survivors include his wife, Della Musgrove Meadows, Strunk; five sons, Ernest, 
Carl, Larry, Gary and Bobby Meadows, all of Strunk; three daughters, Barbara 
Stanfill, Strunk, Irene Marlar, Corinth, Miss., and Sandra Meadows, Strunk: 11 
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Meadows, Strunk, and 
Floyd Meadows, Indianapolis; three sisters, Minnie Silcox, Jellico, Tenn., Opal 
Moore and Maerene Baird, both of Pine Knot.
R.F. Neal Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
