MARCUM, ALTA MARIE - age 92, of Stearns, Ky., passed away Wednesday,
November 18, 1998, at Scott Co. Hospital in Oneida, Tenn. Preceded in 
death by husband, Claude Marcum; son, Kenneth Marcum; daughter, 
Claudette Holladay. Survivors: son, J. William "Bill" Marcum of Oak 
Ridge; daughters, Sheila Denney of Kettering, Ohio, Barbara Souleyrette 
of Oak Ridge, Pat Marcum of Stearns, Ky.; eight grandchildren; 11 
great-grandchildren. Funeral service Saturday, November 21, 1998, at 
1 p.m., at Hickman Strunk Funeral Home, Whitley City, Ky. Interment at 
Stearns Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m., Friday 
at Hickman Strunk Funeral Home in Whitley City, Ky.
