FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES
Phillips, Iowa---age 70, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning at his home 
near Huntsville following an illness of 2 years. He was a member of the Paint 
Rock Baptist Church and had many friends in the community. He is survived by 
3 sons: L. C. and A. V. Phillips of Huntsville, James Phillips of Molus, Ky.;
2 daughters, Mrs. Ezra Sexton of Oneida, Mrs. Talt King of Huntsville, 23 
grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted 
from the Paint Rock Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Monday with the Revs. L.M. 
Jeffers and Albert Chitwood officiating. Burial followed in the Baldy's Knob 
Cemetery. Arrangement by West.
