FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES
Phillips, Brother Dale---Was born October 27th, 1885 and departed this life 
March 8th, 1957, age 71 years, 4 months and 11 days. He was united in 
marriage with Calanza Newport in 1907 and to this union were born 4 children, 
1 son and 3 daughters. His wife and one daughter preceded him in death. He 
accepted Christ as his Savior and joined the Cherry Fork Baptist Church and 
was baptized in April 1906 and lived a devoted Christian life until his death.
He leaves to mourn his absence, one son; 2 daughters, one brother and 2 
sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. We feel that our loss is 
his eternal gain in glory.
