Phillips, Sister Laura---Wife of John Phillips was born June 28, 1874 and 
departed this life February 27, 1954, age 79 years, 7 months and 29 days.  
She professed a hope in Christ at 12 years of age and joined the Methodist 
Church and in July 1906 she joined the Cherry Fork Baptist Church and was 
baptized and remained a devoted member until death. She leaves an aged 
husband, 2 sons and 1 daughter and a host of other relatives and friends 
to mourn her absence. By her profession of faith and life, we feel our 
loss is her eternal gain in glory.
