He was a splendid citizen and a member of the Bethlehem Church and had many friends. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mazena Goad Paynter; five daughters, Mrs. K.C. Williams of Morrow, Ohio, Mrs. Andy Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Grant Cantrell of Knoxville, Mrs. Bob Kiatza of Morrow, Ohio, and Mrs. Leonard Kaufmann of Wartburg, two brothers, Henry Paynter, of Somerset, Ky., and Hulan Paynter of Crab Orchard, Ky., one sister Mrs. Arch McKenney of Somerset, Ky., eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a number of relatives.
