FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES
Price, William Ledford---Was born in Scott County, Tennessee, June 1, 1869.
Departed this life November 9, 1959 at the age of 90 years, 5 months and 8
days. He is survived by his wife, Creasy Price; 4 daughters, Mrs. J.M.
Thompson of Oneida, Mrs. Frank Chitwood and Mrs. Ray Chitwood of Winfield,
Mrs. Olive Scott of Covington, Ky.; 3 sons, Everett Price of Losantville,
Ind., Herman Price of Covington, Ky., and Elmer Price of Cincinnati, Ohio; 1
brother, John Price of Junction City, Ky. He also leaves 26 grandchildren,
a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and a host of
other relatives and friends. He accepted Christ as his Savior early in life
and united with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and after moving his letter to
various other Baptist Churches, he moved it to the Highway Baptist Church
where he remained a faithful member until death. Blessed are the dead which
died in the Lord.
