Ruth I. Durham Richardson
Ruth I. Durham Richardson, 71, passed away December 30, 1999 in Warren,
Michigan. She was born in the Whitley Community to the late Fred and Mary
White Durham. She was a member of the Ryan Road Baptist Church. Beloved wife
of the late John T. Richardson Sr. who preceded her in death in 1977. Loving
mother of Brenda Martin (Alan) of Alabama, John Jr. (Regina), Don and Glenn
Richardson of Michigan. Dear sister to Opal Browning, Eugene and Joe of
Michigan and Leland Durham of Kentucky; also 13 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ernest Richardson of Michigan;
sisters-in-law, Goldie Canada of Kentucky and Lola Proffit of Ohio. She was
also preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie and George Durham. Funeral
services were held January 3 at the Ford Funeral Home in Centerline,
Michigan with Rev. Wayne Cress officiating. Burial was in the White Chapel
Memorial Cemetery, Michigan.
