OBITS FROM McCREARY COUNTY RECORD TUESDAY DECEMBER 8, 1998

Dorman Dean Spradlin, 65, Pine Knot, died Tuesday, Dec 1, 1998, 
in Pine Knot. Funeral services were held Friday at the chapel 
of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with the Rev. Harvey Logan 
officiating. Burial was in the Lower Cal Hill Cemetery.

Born March 2, 1933, in Pine Knot, he was a son of the late 
Clarence and Hattie Gregory Spradlin. Preceding him in death 
were his father, Clarence Spradlin: his mother, Hattie 
Gregory Spradlin; and a sister, Zula Spradlin.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Nadine Simpson Spradlin, 
Pine Knot, whom he married Sept. 17, 1953; two sons David 
(and Leisa) Spradlin, Nancy, Ky., and Jeffery Dean Spradlin, 
Pine Knot;  two daughters, Elizabeth Ann (and Ralph) Neal, 
Pine Knot, and Karen Sue (and Chris) New, Stearns; nine
grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (and Margie) Spradlin, 
Cincinnati, Ohio, and Randall (and Elizabeth) Spradlin, 
Liberty Township, Ohio; and a sister Wilma (and Bob) Clouse, 
Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pine Knot Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
