She was 59 years, 8 months and 26 days old when she left this life on May 19, 1966. She was married to Louis Smith on December 25, 1923 and to this union were born two children, Mrs. Eula Hicks and Mrs. Doris Robbins, both of whom are still living. She became a Christian in the early years of her marriage and joined the United Baptist Church at Cedar Grove. She later moved her membership to the Shirley Church where she remained a member until the time of her death. She leaves her husband, two children, thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Mr. Herbert Penticuff; one sister, Miss Mayme Woodson, both of Allardt, Tennessee and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her passing, for all who knew her loved her. Mother, your place is vacant. Your footsteps will hear no more. But with God's help we'll meet you on that golden shore.
