FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES
Thompson, Celia Jane Jeanette McKinley---Was born may 13, 1884 and died July
16, 1966 at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 3 days.  She was married to
Martin Richard Brewster who preceded her in death. To this union were born
six children: Annie, James Charles, Davie, Mable, Omer and Allie. She was
married to Wm. H. Thompson in 1923.  Surviving are: Husband, Wm. H.
Thompson of Helenwood, Tenn.; Daughters, Mrs. Pharo Shoemaker of Elgin,
Tennessee and Mrs. Manuel Brown of Helenwood, Tennessee; son, Omer Brewster
of Oneida, Tennessee; Half-brothers, Martin McKinney of New Castle, Indiana
and Eugene McKinney of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; thirty one grandchildren;
forty six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She
joined the Helenwood Baptist Church in 1931 and lived a faithful Christian
life.
