FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES
Tompkins, Sister Rosa F.--- _______ of  R.L. Tompkins, was born June 21, 
1891, departed this life September 8, 1965 at the age of 74 years, 2 months 
and 17 days. She professed a hope in Christ at 16 years of age and united with 
the Mt. Helen Baptist Church later moving her letter to the Fellowship Church 
where she remained a faithful member until death. She leaves to mourn her 
passing 2 sons, Hobert Tompkins of Dayton, Ohio and Hollis Tompkins of 
Armathwaite, Tennessee; 3 daughters, Mrs. Avery York of Crossville, Tennessee, 
Mrs. Russell Freels of Sunbright, Tennessee, and Mrs. Hobert Voiles of Dayton,
Ohio; 2 brothers, Virgil and Elda Voiles of Armathwaite, Tennessee; 2
sisters, Mrs. Leva Hassler of Byrdstown, Tennessee and Mrs. Lydia Jones of
Byrdstown, Tennessee; besides a host of other relatives and friends. Her
husband, one son, and one daughter having preceded her in death.
