FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES
Terry, Roger Keith---Son of Earnest N. Terry and Mayme Reed Terry,
was born in Scott County, Tennessee December 9, 1944 and deceased June 3,
1966 at the age of 21 years, 5 months and 24 days. Survivors:  Father,
Earnest N. Terry; Mother, Mayme Reed Terry; One Sister, Mrs. Paul Davidson
of Glencoe, Missouri; Grandmother, Mrs. Enmon Terry of Wartburg, Tennessee;
Grandmother, Mrs. Manus Reed of Helenwood, Tennessee; one niece and two
nephews and a great host of other relatives and friends. He professed faith
in Christ and was baptized into the Helenwood Baptist Church August 7, 1960.
He was a faithful and devoted member of his church. His manner of life and
loyalty to his church will stand as a memorial of inspiration to all the
church, both young and old. He was a member of the 1966 graduating class at
Tennessee Tech University, at Cookeville, a good student, also active in
civic and community activities. The family, the church and the whole
community as well as all who knew him has sustained a great loss, but our
loss is his gain. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."
