Ben Harrison Wilson, 79, died February 2 at his home in Smithtown after a long 
illness. His wife, Mrs. Ada Stephens Wilson, survives./  He was a son of the 
late Will Wilson and Lurvina Whitehead Wilson. He was born March 15, 1893, in 
Wayne County. He lived most of his lifetime in McCreary County where he worked 
in the coal mines. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and a World 
War I veteran./  Surviving are three sons, Beaty Wilson of Cincinnati, Elbert 
Wilson of Hill Top and Luther Wilson of Smithtown; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine 
Crabtree of Sidney, Ohio; four brothers, Cal Wilson and Shelby Wilson, both of 
Revelo, Elihu Wilson of Hill Top, and Walter Wilson of Stearns./  Rev. 
Herbert "Bud" Perry conducted funeral services February 5 in Hickman Funeral 
Home Chapel./  Burial was in the Nancy Grave Cemetery.
