THE WAYNE COUNTY OUTLOOK OBITS FOR OCTOBER 20, 1999

CHARLES CLIFFORD WOOD, age 88, of McCreary County Health Care in Pine
Knot, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 16, 1999 at McCreary County
Health Care.

He was born in Lebanon, Tennessee on December 23, 1910, the son of Allen
and Lillie Sullinger Wood.

He married Sula Gehring Wood, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by a sister Marie Kelley.

He was formerly employed by Richard Lee Funeral Home as a Funeral Home
Attendant.

He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 18, 1999 at 10 A.M. in the
funeral home chapel with Brother Ron Bragg officiating.  Burial was in
Elk Spring Cemetery.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
