W.--Was born July 13, 1867, departed this life March 30, 1957, age 89 years 8 mos., 11 days. He was married to Anna Orick and to this union were born 9 children, one son and eight daughters. He is survived by six daughters and one son, Luther Walker; Mrs. Janie Chitwood, Miss Lottie Wright, Mrs. Hettie Chitwood, Miss Wilda Chitwood, Mrs. Dorothy Crabtree, Mrs. Geneva King all of Winfield, Tenn., 45 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren plus many relatives and friends. He professed a hope in Christ 49 years ago and united with the Pine Grove Baptist Church May 23, 1908. The most of his conversations were about his Savior. Brother Walker had been blind for a long time. He would often quote the words of Paul. I was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see. We know our loss is great, but we feel his gain is greater, because he has gone to live with God.
