Elsie C. Warman, 65, West Point, Ky., died Dec. 22 in Louisville.
Funeral services were held Dec. 26 at 1 p.m. at Blue John Baptist Church
with the Rev. Leroy Goldson officiating.  Burial was in Blue John Cemetery.

She was born Aug 8, 1917, in Greenwood to the late John Young and Myrtle
Patterson Young.  She lived here for years, was a homemaker and Baptist.
She was married Dec. 29, 1922, to James Warman, who with her parents and
three brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her stepmother, Ethel Young Brown, Tateville,
children, Carman Warman, Blue John, Aldean Durham, Danville, Sherriel Hyden,
Yonkers, N.Y., Henrietta Bailey, Dayton, Ohio, Harman Warman and Cleveland
Warman, both of West Point, Kay Head, Louisville, and Vivian Kendall,
Shepherdsville, Ky., 24 grandchildren; 12 great - grandchildren; four
brothers, Ganzie Young, Akron, Ohio, Loyd Young, Dayton, Ohio, Tommy Young,
Cincinnati, and Donald Young, Tateville; 5 sisters, Wahena Keith, and Ester
Warman, both of Greenwood, Delores Taylor, Dayton, Ohio, Jeannie VanHook,
Somerset, and Patricia Young, Tateville.

Hickman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
