Brenda Joyce Watters, 37, Oneida Tenn., died Feb. 18 at Scott County
Hospital, Oneida, after a lingering illness.  Funeral services were held Feb
21 at 2 p.m. at McCreary County Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.C. Reynolds
and Rev. Ronald  Duncan officiating.  Burial was in Silerville Cemetery.

She was born Feb 9, 1945, in McCreary County to R.L. and Mabel King
West.  She lived here all her life, was a housewife and member of Second
Bethlehem Baptist Church, Winfield, Tenn.
She was married to Robert E. Watters on Jan. 13, 1964.  Preceding her in
death were a sister Wanda Faye Crabtree, and a brother, Robert Lee West.

Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Watters, Oneida; her parents;
R.L. and Mabel West, both of Pine Knot; her children, Lisa Marie, Robert
Dale, and Brenda Annetta Watters, all at home; grandmother, Emma King,
Strunk; 3 brothers, Noble Lee West, Anderson, Ind., Jackie Doyle West and
Rocky Lane West, both of Pine Knot; 2 sisters, Kathleen Soard, Stearns, and
Neveda Corder, Strunk.

McCreary County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
