She joined the United Baptist Church at Old Otter Creek in 1894. She came to the Second Otter Creek Church when it was organized and remained a member until death. She married Murry Wilson, October 17, 1897. To this union were born 2 boys and 5 girls, Maudie Simpson, William, Opal and Ollie, all deceased. Rosa Thomas, Polly and Terrah Wilson, all of Strunk. She leaves her husband, 2 girls and 1 boy, 2 sisters and 2 brothers, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, many in laws, and nieces and nephews and many friends to mourn her absence. But we know that Aunt Tennie is now at rest with her Lord. She suffered for more than 4 years, but she was very patient. She never seemed to complain. She was a quite, loving mother, wife, sister and aunt. It was always a great joy to visit her and talk with her. She always was wishing that she was able to go to church. Aunt Tennie quietly went to sleep Wednesday evening at 5:10, June 4, 1952. She was 72 years, 7 months and 18 days old. She will be laid to rest with her loved ones in the family lot near her home to await the coming of our Lord. May each one of her loved ones left behind determine to meet her in the great morning of the resurrection.
