It was first copied in 1977 by Mrs. Jefferson W. Ellis, Sacramento, KY. I recopied it in December 1999 -January 2000. This land was first owned by William M. Moore, Sr., who is also buried here. He lived in the log house, just across the field, that was torn down in the late 1990's. There are four rows of tombstones in an open area surrounded by cultivated fields. The cemetery area is a green, and well-mowed mounded area with a few old Cedar and Sweetgum trees surrounding it. The iron fence that once surrounded it is now gone. The stones in good shape and condition. A few have been repaired and reset. Several yucca plants have been planted beside some of the stones. The names that are together are on the same stone. Words or phrases in quotation marks are on the stone, and words in parenthesis are added comments. There are now 21 tombstones, and one stone with just the base left, in Row 2. There is evidence of at least four or five more graves with no stones. There was a husband and wife known to be buried here, but when it was copied in 1977, they did not have tombstones. The husband of the couple now has a stone, in Row 3. She does not. The tombstone for Isaac Mize, the hus of Margaret, is gone. It was there when Mrs. Ellis copied in 1977. There is evidence of a grave on both sides of Margaret, but no stone. Row 1 Moore, Ann W Feb 03 1799 Oct 16 1837 "wife of W M Moore" (has an open Bible at the top) Moore, William M.
