Traveling from Rumsey, turn onto Hwy 1155 and drive about seven miles. Turn right onto Ross Road just half a mile after you cross Cypress Creek Bridge. The cemetery is clearly visible on the right side, about forty feet from the road. It is a well kept half-acre cemetery, with a dirt road on the left side going back to fields behind it. The fence that used to surround it is now gone, and most of the trees and shrubs around it have been cleaned out. The cemetery was first copied in 1976 by Louise Sandefur Willis. Additional information was given by Elizabeth Cox, Bessie Boatright, and Clayton McLaughlin. Some information was obtained from death certificates and census records. The Mincy information is from death certificates, and from newspaper obituaries. There are 26 stones, and several unmarked graves. There are several places that I thought could be graves, but I wasn't for sure. Other places were definitely graves. There are three graves marked with stones at the head and foot, but no names or dates. Two of them have recently had flowers placed on them. One grave has a small wooden cross and flowers. Row 1 - evidence of grave - has a stone for the head and another for the foot. No names Mincy, James Robert Nov 11 1891 Jan 12 1969 (has a simple rectangular rock with Robert Mincy and dates scratched on it - verified from death cert.) Mincy, Annie (Anna Francis) Mar 20 1899 Jan 18 1977 (has a simple rectangular rock with Annie Mincy and the dates written in paint - verified from death cert.) Mincy, James E. ca 1922 d.
