RAYMOND BOARD
1902-1998

Raymond Board, 95-year-old resident of Muldraugh, formerly of the Hillgrove area in Meade County, died suddenly Monday, February 23, 1998, at Muldraugh. Born July 21, 1902 in Breckinridge County, Mr. Board was a son of the late Jerome Board and Lee Meador. He was a farmer.

His wife, Mrs. Alliene Board, preceded him in death in 1947, also a son and daughter, Charles "Buster" Board, and Viola Board Trent.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Elory, San Diego, CA, and Leona Reed, Muldraugh; a son, Gordon D. "Bucky" Board, Guston; a sister, Mary Stewart, Pulaski, TN; 17 grandchildren, and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. EST Thursday, february 26, 1998, from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington with burial in the Buck Grove Cemetery in Meade County.
