AUDREY STITH 1930-1997 Mrs. Audrey Mae Fisher Stith, age 67, of Guston, died Tuesday, October 14, 1997, at her residence. Born February 8, 1930 in Jefferson County, Mrs. Stith was a daughter of the late John Stanley Fisher, Sr. and Anna Mae Smith Fisher. She was a 1948 graduate of New Albany High School and attended the University of Kentucky. She was a past recording secretary of the Ancestral Trails Historical Society, was an active member of Hill Grove Baptist Church, a past recipient of the Meade County Band Booster of the Year award and also the Meade County Fair Person of the Year award. A brother, John S. Fisher, Jr., preceded her in death. Mrs. Stith is survived by her huadband, Thomas J. Stith; five sons, Mitchel and Jeff Stith, both of Guston, Whitney Stith, Union, Kevin Stith, Louisville, Kyle Stith, Lexington; daughter-in-law, Gina Stith, Union; two sisters, Betty F. Hauber, Louisville, and Jo Ann F. Koehler, New Albany, IN; two step-grandchildren, Lauren and Brandon Marsee, Union; also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were conducted Friday, October 17, from Hill Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Shacklett and Charles Blanc officiating. Burial was in Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jenkins Funeral Home, Brandenburg.
