County, Kentucky, to Rev. Benjamin Franklin Singleton, Sr (born in Indiana, or 
possibly Meade County, Kentucky), and Martha Ann Allen (born in Brandenburg, 
Meade County, Kentucky).  On 20 July 1890, at Shiloh Methodist Church in 
Breckinridge County, Kentucky, Bennie Singleton married Emma A. ("Annie") 
Cart.  The couple had at least 2 children.  Bennie is buried at Bald Knob 
Cemetery, near Battletown, Meade County, Kentucky.
